You'll find this to be a small, uniformly shaped and compacted plant. There is bright yellow foliage initially but the new growth appears vibrantly red, lending unexpected contrast to the area. Dark pink flowers further contribute to its showiness! This shrub also turns a rich russet in the fall! Although it stands out it also supports the color "drama" of other garden plants. Fits in well almost anywhere you need to tuck "cottage garden" type plant.
