The perennial daylily known as "Special" produces masses of a variety of colors of flowers, ranging from purple, pink, red, peach, and orange. Once it is all grown up it is16-30 inches tall. The vibrancy show runs June through July.

Snap off dead blooms; cut flower stem to ground after all flowers are spent. Pull out dead leaves throughout the season. Trim to the ground in late fall after several frosts.
