This very attractive bloomer has what some call "biscuit shaped" blossoms in Mid-late April. Nice green leaves all summer that turn reddish-purple in fall. Gets red cluster of showy berries, all for our bird friends. Nice branching structure--somewhat horizontal. Prefers a protected location ( from the wind) with shade to part shade. Holds up well as a show piece against snow.
