It's a crabapple tree (Prairiefire, Profusion, Indian Magic) which is disease resistant and tops off at 15 ft tall. In early spring it produces beautiful shades of pinkish-rose blooms. Later, small berry-like fruit, dark red purple 3/8 - 1/2 inches in diameter replace the flowers. Leaves are purplish green with purplish green bark, making the perfect backdrop for the growing season. You will find this tree adapts to a variety of soil conditions.
