It's a crabapple tree (Prairiefire, Profusion, Indian Magic) which is disease resistant and tops off at 15 ft tall. In early spring it produces beautiful shades of pinkish-rose blooms. Somebody we know says this is her favorite tree and with good reason. First, it grows fast (she's impatient) and can reach 50-70 ft tall. It has delicate, fern-like foliage (she is a fern fanatic), light green needle-like leaves. The leaves turn coppery-bronze in fall. This very attractive bloomer has what some call "biscuit shaped" blossoms in Mid-late April. Nice green leaves all summer that turn reddish-purple in fall.
