A beautiful pink-purple spiky perennial. The same perennial as regular lythrum except a dwarf variety only reaching 24-30 inches tall. It blooms May thru September. Works well as a cut flower. Lythrum loves water!!! Do not plant near waterways. Picture from Walters Gardens Inc.

Trim/Prune: Trim to the ground in late fall after several frosts. Watch for metalic flea beetles and japanese beetles. Spray with insecticide as needed.
